Below are the public's comments to the above question.
Although we're probably talking different funding sources, I'd prefer to see current roads adequately maintained and plowed - rather than using city funds to provide amenities for the Christian Center. KK Comments at 2/25/03 Open House

Do not think this improvement is worth it at all. Is this just a perk to the New Christian Center at 100th & Minnesota? Why is a subdivision being planned & platted in the wetlands along the north side of the planned extension? This is ludicrous! Have C.O.E. wetlands permits been obtained? BP Comments at 2/25/03 Open House

The drainage needs close scrutiny. Use more RAP for bases. GS Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
I’m glad to hear that C St. will also be extended about the same time as 100th Ave. I was concerned about the impact on the King/Dimond intersection, but it sounds like C St. will take much of the traffic & allow better accessibility to Costco. SZ Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
Encourage any residential development not be faced on extension. MW Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
Beautiful landscaping is desired, especially along the north side. Do you need any Type III or II fill for a surcharge? Make sure signal at 100th Ave. & Old Seward Hwy needs are addressed (and built prior) to road opening. Make sure future needs for Arctic Blvd and Rovenna St. are considered. Make sure any water/sewer/gas/electric/telephone needs are addressed. Make sure adequate coordination occurs with ADOT “C” St. project. JL Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
I would like to see improved landscaping. JS Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
Please look @ the operation of 100th & the Minnesota Dr. ramps. Their proximity to each other allows little room for queuing each way. KM Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
Looks ok to me. Would be nice to minimize stoplights along C St. extension. BS Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
Looks good so far. Like the bike paths! Roundabouts are ok. Southport one works well. JF Comments at 2/25/03 Open House
This is a good start for East West movement in Mid-town, for businesses and residential alike. Then 68th should be next. PR Comments at 12/5/02 Community Council
Traffic control @ Minn & 100th – perhaps another circle? Light pollution from new streetlights. BH Comments at 12/5/02 Community Council
Nice bike trail on south side. MS Comments at 12/5/02 Community Council
Agriculture improvement to area for breath of fresh air and what will be the use of road side land TB Comments from web 2/21/03
This is a much needed project for this area of town. Trying to access businesses in the extremely congested Dimond area is very frustrating. I often just avoid the area altogether, and dread it when I need to go anywhere in the vicinity. Please, Please build the extension and provide us with an improved alternative route!
