Phase I of the 100th Avenue project will construct a new collector street to urban standards and complete the connection between King Street and C Street.  Construction will begin in the summer of 2008. 

The Purpose and Need for Phase II of the 100th Avenue Extension project, from Minnesota Drive to C Street, has been confirmed. Environmental permitting is a major project issue and negotiations are ongoing with the regulatory agencies. Design, easement acquisition, and the utility phase have been funded. Final construction funding is proposed for 2009 in the approved CIP.  Phase II will construct a collector street to urban standards and will complete the roadway connection between the Minnesota Drive and C Street. Improvements are expected to include pavement, curb and gutter, street lighting, storm drainage, pedestrian facilities, and landscaping.
